Rosie's on the roof

OPEN SUN-THURS: 4PM-10PM | FRI-SAT: 4PM-11PM HAPPY HOUR: 4PM-6PM DAILY. $5 DRINKS.

Enjoy a limited menu of local favorites on the rooftop deck of Rosie’s or in the comfort of your room with take-out service. Seating is “first come, first served”; reservations are not required.

For large group and private rentals, ten-day notice and a $7500 minimum guarantee is required via contract with the Catering Dept.

Rosie's is getting a facelift! Yes, we are growing the space at Rosies on the Roof. So many guests have enjoyed the rooftop so much that we are taking over more of the roof to add to the Rosies experience! During weekdays, until December 30, a construction crew will be at Rosie's daily between 8am and 4pm. No disruption in any service at the hotel is expected, so all the things you like are still there, and Rosies will open every day at 4pm just like always. We share this good news however, since during the weekday hours noted, there may be some minor noise issues as the crew installs the rooftop anchors needed for the covering on the new space. This will not affect the current outside deck of Rosies, but when complete will add a whole new rooftop deck experience with wonderful direct views of New Orleans downtown city skyline!

      The Higgins offers several unique spaces for your private cocktail event or dinner, including:

      • The Patriots Circle Lounge, featuring soft seating and a wonderful windowed ground floor reception experience for up to 70 guests.
      • Kilroy’s Lounge, a great lobby-centered bar that can be set for parties of 50-80.
      • Café Normandie's Ste. Mére Eglise Room, accommodating up to 20 guests for formal dining.
      • The Casablanca Room, accommodating 50-60 for a seated dinner, with a 2nd floor balcony overlooking Andrew Higgins Blvd.
      • The Roosevelt Suite, ideal for a private dinner as described in the “details” tab.
      • The Ste Mere Eglise Room Offers dignified conference for 16 or separate tables of 4 for up to 20 adjacent to Café Normandie. Catering menus, or a la carte are possible.
